We understand the strong connection between hunger and health.

We support the adoption of the Healthy Eating Research (HER) Nutrition Guidelines and nutrition policies at food banks and pantries to increase access to nutritious food. We encourage partnerships to advance healthy food systems and food is medicine work.​

    This report explores different strategies that food banks have used to implement the HER Nutrition Guidelines, based on a survey in May 2023.
